As a self-taught blacksmith, Richard Bent fully understands the difficulty faced by people wishing to learn this ancient craft.

Internationally known blacksmith, Richard Bent, now offers this unique opportunity to unravel some of the mystery of blacksmithing; working under his instruction in his forge at Bickleigh Farm, near Halwell in the beautiful South Devon landscape.

To experience first hand the day-to-day working in a 21st Century blacksmith's forge facility, one day, two day and five day courses of instruction are given on an individual basis, within a group setting of a maximum of six people (four people for five day course).

Information on the courses can be found on the COURSE INFORMATION and COURSE DATES pages.
